At present, China's engineering machinery parts industry has formed a production and scientific research system with complete categories, certain production capacity and initial scale. Professional parts manufacturers have occupied a certain proportion. However, problems such as backward product technology, unreasonable product structure and unstable product quality still restrict the further development of China's parts industry. At the same time, these are also the main reasons for the substandard overall quality and reliability level of the main engine. Elements such as diesel engines, gearboxes, and hydraulic pump motor valves generally have the problem of "three leaks". Hydraulic system failures account for about 50% to 70% of the total. Transmissions and axles below 3 tons and above 6 tons in the transmission system are still very backward, especially in large machines, it is basically blank. Series of problems such as high failure rate of electrical components still have not been fundamentally solved. As the "soft rib" of domestic excavators, the quality control technology of main valves is monopolized by foreign brands such as Kawasaki and Komatsu. Variable systems and various components required for small excavators within 30MPa and below 10 tons are all completely dependent on imports.

Accordingly, industry experts suggest that the domestic parts industry should increase investment in technological transformation and quality management systems. Conditional supporting enterprises should jointly invest or hold shares in research with host enterprises. They should strengthen the investment and management of technology development funds, formulate reasonable development routes and methods, and make full use of the strength of enterprises, scientific research institutes and society. Based on existing technologies, increase the intensity of independent development and innovation.

Therefore, the parts industry should improve the level of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic integration, the level of intelligent control technology, the level of hydrostatic transmission technology and load sensing adjustment technology. It should cultivate large-scale parts enterprise groups with strong strength and reaching economic scale through asset restructuring or mergers and acquisitions. It should break through the core technologies of hydraulic excavator hydraulic components, especially variable piston pumps, motors and matching reducers, as well as chip or integral multi-way valves and high-pressure cylinders. It should also break through cutting-edge technologies such as microcomputer integrated control and full hydraulic drive of loader transmissions. Only in this way can there be more well-known brand enterprises in China's engineering machinery parts industry and can it be invincible in market competition.
